Milton Arts Guild sets Hearts for Holidays parties Dec. 16-17

As part of its Hearts Need Art initiative, Milton Arts Guild will host two heart-making parties to ensure that patients at the Bayhealth campuses will have a special holiday greeting during their untimely hospital stays.

For a fun and meaningful way to share some joy during the holiday season, MAG encourages members of the public to join its artists in creating decorative heart art from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16 and 17, at 107 Federal St., Milton. 

“Being in the hospital is never easy,” said Jennifer Johnson, MAG’s community relations director. “Our Hearts Need Art program at both Bayhealth campuses provides small mementos to patients – delivered on their meal trays – that bring a little smile to their faces. Being in the hospital during the holidays is even more lonely. We hope these special holiday hearts will lighten the day for patients, and let them know the community is thinking of them at the holidays.”
