Milton Garden Club selling raffle tickets Oct. 8

Milton Garden Club member Paula Costanzo, right, presents the September dessert-of-the-month to the 2015-16 raffle winner, Walt Goering. The dessert-of-the-month raffle is a fundraiser for the Milton Garden Club to help them raise funds for their ongoing goal of making Milton beautiful with flowers.

Tickets for the 2016-17 raffle are now being sold and are $1 each or six for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn at 3 p.m., during Hollyfest Saturday, Dec. 10. Garden club members will be selling tickets at the Banjos and Seafood Festival in Milton Memorial Park  Saturday, Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This festival features five bluegrass groups, including Betty and the Bullets, U.S. Navy Country Current and Flatland Drive, plus delectable seafood dishes from area restaurants.
