During their January meeting, the Milton Lions Club hosted two dignitaries from Special Olympics Delaware.
Special Olympics chair for District 22D Barbara Spence spoke of the exciting happenings with the Special Olympics Delaware athletes. Special Olympics Delaware athlete Liz Ferber gave a spirited speech on what it means to represent Delaware as an athlete, and King Lion Jim Coverdale presented a check in support of Special Olympics Delaware.
Many Milton Lions take part in the annual Polar Bear Plunge and walk in Rehoboth Beach.
