Milton Theatre seeks locals to shadow ‘Rocky Horror’ on stage March 24

March 17, 2018

The interactive "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the historic Milton Theatre has become a Delmarva institution. And it's coming back for another night of mad, crazy fun at 9 p.m., Saturday, March 24.

The movie that has been entertaining audiences for the past four decades was critically panned on its initial release, but is now considered a cultural phenomenon. The story centers on a young couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. They discover the head of the house is Frank N. Furter, a mad scientist who actually is an alien transvestite in the midst of performing maniacal experiments.

Attendees can experience the fun and join the excitement with a live shadow cast acting along with the movie's screening. And this time, the theater is opening the show to interested cast members. To be part of the ensemble that will be performing onstage, email miltontheatreshows@gmail.com.

Virgin kits of Rocky Horror props will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $5-$10. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038.
