Murder mystery dinner show set at Lewes Diner Feb. 25

February 17, 2017

Foot Light Productions’ upcoming murder mystery show, “The Good, The Sad and The Ugly?” will be performed Saturday, Feb. 25, at the new Lewes Diner at 1201 Savannah Road. Cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and the murder mystery starting at 7 p.m.

This murder mystery parody is based on classic TV westerns. This is Gunsmoke versus Bonanza versus Maverick versus The Big Valley. The restaurant becomes Miss Tabby's Long Limb Saloon and is populated with the likes of Marshal Marshall Dillon, Little Joe Hoss, Rhett Maverick and Miss Vickey Barkley. Sidewinding cattle rustlers and horse thieves need to watch out while they wet their whistles. Western attire is encouraged.

The new manager/co-owner of the Lewes Diner, Tony Belen is creating a delicious buffet meal of soup/salad/homemade bread, sautéed beef tips, fried flounder, teriyaki chicken, red roasted potatoes, hot vegetables, homemade dessert and non-alcoholic beverages, all for $39 per person, not including gratuity and alcoholic beverages.

Belen has been in the food service industry for over 20 years. He has worked all over fine restaurants in Europe as well as with the best companies in the cruise ship industry in the selection and preparation of meals. He recently assumed new responsibility as co-owner and manager of the Lewes Diner and is looking forward to meeting all the new customers in the area.

Audience members eat dinner and then watch the comedic drama unfold until they witness a murder. It is up to them to question the suspects and discover motive, means and opportunity. Prizes will be awarded for the correct solution. The show is fun, family friendly and unique.

Free parking is available in the front lot of the restaurant. Reservations are required. To purchase tickets, call 302-200-9191.
