Nate Myers and the Aces set at Lewes Canalfront Park Aug. 4

The popular, crowd-pleasing band Nate Myers and The Aces will return to Lewes Canalfront Park by popular demand at 7 p.m., Thursday Aug. 4. Nate Myers and The Aces plays energetic roots, funk and blues originals as well as covers, always with a focus on engaging and entertaining the audience.

Led by vocalist Nate Myers and his harmonica, the band has shared the stage with national artists including Kansas, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer and Cheap Trick. The band creates a loose, casual atmosphere in which everyone can enjoy a beautiful summer evening on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. Whether the audience prefers to sit back and listen or get up and dance, there is something for everyone.

Attendees should bring a blanket or lawn chair, and maybe a picnic supper. The park is at 211 Front St. in Historic Lewes. This event is free and made possible through support of Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.
