DART posts holiday service schedules

Delaware Transit Corporation recently announced its holiday schedules.

DART will operate regular Sunday services statewide for Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31.  

DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate on Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Monday, Jan. 1.

Wheels for Meals registration discounted thru Dec. 31

Early registration pricing continues through Sunday, Dec. 31, for the Wheels for Meals Jack O’Hollaren Annual Bike Ride, sponsored by the W.E. Cross Charitable Foundation.

The ride will set off at 7 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Hudson Fields, 29763 Eagle Crest Road, Milton.

Cyclists can choose from 100-, 40-, 25- and 10-mile courses.

All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth and Sussex Cyclists.

The rain-or-shine community celebration includes a cookout, music and libations.
