Observations on Trump's Congressional address

March 6, 2017

Never in all my years have I heard more falsehoods uttered or viewed a more Oscar-winning performance than at President Trump's congressional address - incorrect facts and a promise of everything for everyone. Voters need to closely scrutinize every promise Mr. Trump has made to solve every complex problem, to see if solutions actually materialize. This address was a complete turnaround from what the president has said and done during his first month is office.

After a month of divisive rhetoric, now a speech on love and unity. Actions trump words. Any politician can achieve success if he or she panders to the people's emotions with a quick solution to every problem in the country. Tell everyone what they wish to hear. The critical question is: can the president deliver? I sincerely wish him luck. I for one will be watching closely to see if he can.
