Patricia Magliocchino, truly loved life

Patricia Magliocchino, 85, of Lewes, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born April 25, 1938, in Newburgh, N.Y., daughter of the late, George and Elizabeth (Lahey) Coughlin.

Patricia graduated from high school in 1956. She enjoyed working as a secretary while also taking care of her home and family. Patricia had many and varied hobbies. She loved knitting, camping and making people laugh! Her love of life was contagious. More than anything, she treasured time spent with those she held most dear. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know and love her.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Coughlin. She is survived by her loving husband, Mauro Magliocchino; her daughter, Victoria Magliocchino; her sons, Christopher, Patrick and Anthony; her sister, Johanne Milkovich; her brother, George Coughlin; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Patricia’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org/donate; or Shriners Children's Hospital, lovetotherescue.org.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Final care for Patricia has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Lewes.
