Pleasants new group sales manager at Atlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth
The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center has announced the addition of Heather Pleasants, group sales manager, to its team of hospitality professionals. Pleasants’ prior experience in the hospitality industry includes her time working with Ricky and Kathy Hilton at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City and her more recent experience at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover.
She was previously director of sales and marketing for Toppers Spa Salons Inc. and Genesis Healthcare, served on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Milford, and was 2017 director of leadership Central Delaware for the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce.
Pleasants’ creativity and can do attitude are hallmarks of her success and her interest in providing professional booking support for the events and overnight stays of the hotels’ group clients has led to memorable and enjoyable experiences for planners and attendees alike.
She enjoys the beach area, has lived in Lewes for the past eight years, and is eager to assist clients of both the Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference and The Breakers Hotel & Suites in planning their events and overnight accommodations.
