Pollinators program set at children’s garden Aug. 11

August 8, 2017

The Children's Learning Garden will hold an interactive puppet program with Sue Everitt for pollinator day at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 11. Children's participation with silly costumes and nature puppets will bring the performance to life and provide an entertaining lesson about pollinators. Children will learn how plants grow with pollinators' assistance and how humans should respect all nature, even the creepy crawlers. There will be music as well.

Since 1990, Everitt's "Glee Mania" has been performed at hundreds of schools, fairs and libraries throughout the Washington, D.C. area, and at the National Theater and the Smithsonian museums. Everitt has recently moved to the Lewes area where she continues to entertain.

The Children's Learning Garden is part of Lewes in Bloom. For more information, go to www.lewesinbloom.org or email nandfp@yahoo.com.
