Rehoboth Art League to spotlight haunted history Oct. 26

September 24, 2023

After 280 years, there are bound to be some ghosts haunting the halls of Rehoboth Art League’s venerable Homestead building.

During a haunted history event at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, the art league will offer attendees a unique opportunity to hear from the spirits that haunt the historic campus in Henlopen Acres.

Are Louise Corkran and Peter Marsh still residing in the Homestead? Is there something buried in the back garden? Can an unsolved case from the 1800s finally be closed?

Focusing on the Homestead, gardens and Paynter’s Studio, Dr. Carol Pollio, Intuitive Investigations director and lead investigator, will present a formal talk sharing her paranormal research and findings from RAL’s property. Attendees will learn about local legends and unnerving tales that have unfolded on the league’s campus over the course of hundreds of years. Participants can review the evidence, including audio and photographs, and see what to make of ghosts that might still make RAL their home.

The cost is $10 per person and light refreshments will be available.
