Rehoboth Beach Film Society seeks art submissions for 2017 film festival

Submissions due March 13
February 10, 2017

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society is seeking original art submissions to be adapted for the 2017 Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival's artwork. The selected submission will become the theme for designing the film festival's poster, program,  T-shirt, and other promotional materials. Submissions must be new, original and created with film and coastal Delaware in mind.

The selected artist will receive tremendous visibility by having his/her work featured in numerous marketing applications. Several thousand festival programs will be printed with the chosen artwork on the cover and an interior page devoted to a biography and photo of the selected artist. The program will also be posted on the film society's website. In addition, numerous copies of the festival poster featuring the artwork will be displayed in businesses throughout Sussex County. The artwork will also be posted on the film society's website with a link to the selected artist's website.

The selected artwork will be auctioned at the festival in November 2017 with proceeds to benefit the Rehoboth Beach Film Society.

Artwork from Faith Lord, Batenga Obuseh, Nina Stamus, Damon Pla, Laura Ambler, Claudia Ratner, Steve Drum and K.E. Jiminez was selected for previous festivals.

For more information about criteria, go to www.rehobothfilm.com or call 302-645-9095. Note dimension requirements this year. The deadline for submissions is 4:45 p.m., Monday, March 13.
