Rehoboth Rotary supports reading program for new Habitat homeowners

The Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary Club has helped support Reading Opens Doors, founded by Roxanne Nelson to provide books to Sussex County Habitat for Humanity new homeowners. With grant funding from Rotary International, the club has purchased new bookcases and books. Nelson selects books for the family based on reading levels, language, interest and ages.

Rotary advances international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional people united in the ideal of service. For more information about membership and helping the community, visit a meeting at 7:30 a.m., Fridays, at Brandywine Senior Living, 36101 Seaside Blvd., Rehoboth Beach.
