Relay for Life receives $1,000 donation from Stomp Out Cancer 5K proceeds

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford and corporate sponsors Dover Federal Credit Union and Dentsply Sirona presented the American Cancer Society/Milford Relay for Life with a check for $1,000, from a portion of the proceeds generated from the inaugural Stomp Out Cancer 5K Run/Walk.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. Teams of people gather at the former Milford Middle School to take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one member on the track at all times. Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
