Ring in the new year at Bethany Blues Dec. 31

December 16, 2017

Everyone loves to ring in the new year with delicious food and great company as they contemplate all of the excitement that lies ahead in the upcoming year. This year, no matter what side of the Indian River Inlet bridge people are on, Bethany Blues has them covered for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Both locations, the original Blues in Bethany Beach and the Route 1 location in Lewes, will be offering the same great buffets and a la carte menus for New Year's.

It all kicks off with a spectacular brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 31, and then continues when the staff rolls out a second buffet for dinner for the first time in the event's history. Guests will enjoy made-to-order omelets and Belgian waffles, freshly carved meats, fantastic barbecue, mussels and clams, soups and salads, and many breakfast staples. The dinner buffet begins at 5 p.m., and diners can feast on carved meats, seafood dishes, signature side dishes, fresh breads and homemade desserts.

For a more intimate experience, the Bethany Beach location is offering an additional New Year's Eve menu complete with libation pairings. Guests may dine a la carte or choose a three-course menu for $60. From lobster bisque to parmesan-encrusted halibut, succulent filet mignon and sweet desserts, taste buds will be treated to one final decadence in 2017.

To party and dance the night away, swing on down to the Lewes location where Comfort Zone, one of the best local bands, will be playing from 9 p.m. to midnight.

For New Year's Day, both Blues locations will be setting up their famous brunch again. Guests can make a bloody mary at the bloody bar, or sip on a freshly squeezed mimosa at the new mimosa bar, because there’s nothing that'll git ya, like the hair of the dog that bit ya.
