Ruth S. Olson, former Milford resident
Ruth S. Olson, 93, of Lawrenceville, N.J., and formerly of Milford, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. Born April 24, 1923, in Felton, she lived most of her life in Delaware before moving to Lawrenceville in 2008.
Wife of the late John L. Olson, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law Gregory L. and Robin E. Olson of West Windsor, N.J.; two granddaughters and husbands, Meghan and Justin Morse, and Laura and Joe Christa; two grandsons and wives, Thomas and Jessica Olson, and Matthew and Kathryn Olson; and five great-grandsons, Jeremy, Nathan and Hunter Morse, Ryan Olson and Elijah Christa.
Visitation will be held at the Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, Sunday, Jan. 15, between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m., and Monday, Jan. 16, at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Apostle Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford, Monday, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
