Samantha "Sam" Jo (Littleton) Kressin, store manager

Samantha "Sam" Jo (Littleton) Kressin, 32, of Willards, Md., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.

She was born in Seaford Feb. 19, 1984, daughter of Thomas Jackson and Pamela Susan (McKirby) Littleton. Sam had worked as a store manager for several stores prior to her illness.

Sam was a devoted mother to her son and very active in all of his school activities. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, watching murder mystery shows and loved the Dallas Cowboys. She will be remembered for her caring attitude toward others rather than worrying about her own health issues.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Kressin; a son, Julian M. Kressin; her mother and father, Thomas and Pamela Littleton; four sisters, Tommi Elliott and her husband Robb, Sheila Trader and her husband Butch, Virginia Littleton, and Heidi Meekins and her husband Kasey; and a brother, Logan Littleton. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, John and Lorraine Kressin; two brothers-in-law, Joshua Kressin and his wife Liz, and John Kressin and his wife Nicole; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bella.

A celebration of Sam's life will be held at noon, Sunday, March 5, at the Gumboro Community Center, 36849 Millsboro Hwy., Millsboro. Interment will be private.
