Schlosser most qualified to succeed Zellers

July 14, 2017

Over 30 years' public service, financial and operational management of large-scale projects larger than the new city hall and ocean outfall combined, an Army officer leading our nation's bravest, a collaborator managing diverse views, a trusted neighbor more interested in our city's future than political alliances - that is Lisa Schlosser.

After spending time talking with Lisa, you will realize that she is thoughtful, intelligent and willing to listen. The military term "working in the trenches" truly defines Lisa as a leader. And working alongside a newly elected Mayor Paul Kuhns, she will bring the financial management skills and experience that no other commissioner nor candidate can claim. Her background, and devotion to our city, will be critical to managing the financial malaise facing Rehoboth Beach, that I am concerned that the Cooper-Gay ticket will perpetuate if elected.

Lisa has shown that, working with Paul Kuhns, she will create a fiscally sound and transparent municipal government for all, where everyone matters and everyone counts. Wow, now I can finally be excited and enthusiastic about this election and the future of Rehoboth Beach!
