Shirley A. Coale, ladies auxiliary member
Shirley A. (Jones) Coale of Milton passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Shirley was born in Marion, N.C., daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Owens) Jones. Shirley worked for many years with Giant Foods as an accounting associate.
Shirley was a member of the Ellendale VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, James Coale; a son, Mark Coale; and an infant great-granddaughter, Kylie Marie Duggan.
She is survived by five children, William Heller, Robert Heller, David Coale, Vincent Coale and Lauren Watson; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as two siblings, Kathy Gardin and Johnny Jones.
Per Shirley’s request, there are no formal services scheduled at this time.
