Skate the Cape hits the dunes of Cape Henlopen State Park

The sixth annual Skate the Cape Shred Festival took place Nov. 11-12 at Cape Henlopen State Park. Skateboarders from along the East Coast braved the cold and damp weather to compete in downhill, slalom, freestyle, enduro push race and the X event.

"Skate the Cape was a success,” said director Rob Wheeler. “Everyone traveled a long way to camp in the cold, hang out with friends and enjoy two days of epic skate competitions. This event will be ingrained in my memories for years."
