Due to the recent water pollution caused by the Mountaire chicken processing plant in Millsboro, I support Rep. Steve Smyk's recommendation to the Joint Finance Committee to fully fund the Delaware Division of Water's staffing to a full level, so that they can properly manage and protect our water resources against pollution and make sure control measures are in place to keep our local groundwater safe.
