The fifth annual Son of a Beach rugby tournament was held May 19 at Hudson Fields in Milton, where 13 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams played in rainy and sloppy conditions. When the sun came out, the North East Philly Irish squad garnered the men’s championship, and the DC Furries took the top spot in the women’s bracket.
