Summer Spirituality Series continues June 22

The St. Peter's Episcopal Church Summer Spirituality Series continues Thursday, June 22, from 7 to 8 p.m., in the Parish Hall, 211 Mulberry St,, Lewes.

Building on last week's presentation by the Parish Green Team on Water Justice, this week's speaker will be Dr. Jennifer Biddle, an associate professor at the University of Delaware's College of Earth, Ocean, and the Environment School of Marine Science and Policy in Lewes.

Biddle received a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Rutgers University and a PhD in biochemistry, microbiology and molecular Bbology from Penn State University. She completed postdoctoral work as a NASA fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Biddle, a St. Peter's communicant, will present an overview of the global perspective on climate and the connectedness of Earth's systems as they relate to environmental stewardship.

As always, a King's ice cream social will follow the presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend.
