Sussex Academy named Top Middle School in Delaware

StartClass, an education research site powered by Graphiq has named Sussex Academy as the Top Middle School in Delaware.

Using data obtained from the National Center for Education Statistics and the Civil Rights Data Collection, StartClass based their ratings on exam passing rates, school environment and disciplinary actions. The study only focused on schools that at least included grades 6, 7 and 8.

Sussex Academy is a public charter, tuition free school centrally located in Georgetown serving grades 6-12. The school practices a Project Based Learning approach and all grade 11 and 12 students will be enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program.
