Sussex County Land Trust names Mackenzie Peet to board

The Sussex County Land Trust, a nonprofit conservation organization, recently announced the appointment of Mackenzie Peet as a new board member.

Peet is an attorney with the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP, with a focus on land use and real estate law primarily in Sussex County. With an undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in environmental studies, Peet went on to earn her law degree and a certificate of environmental law from Pace Law School in White Plains, N.Y. She was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2019.

Originally from Rehoboth Beach, Peet has a strong connection to her community. She actively volunteers as a member of the Village Improvement Association, an organization dedicated to charitable and civic work in the Rehoboth Beach region. In her free time, she enjoys the company of her friends, family and pets, particularly outdoors and at the beach.
