Sussex Village provides Thanksgiving gift baskets

Volunteers for the new Village Network in Sussex County, an aging-in-place program, recently came together to assemble Thanksgiving gift baskets that provided complete dinners for eight to 10 people.
They were given to client families in need. The baskets were donated by Jewish Family Services and filled with contributions from clients, volunteers and staff.
The Sussex Village is part of the Brandywine Village Network, a project of Jewish Family Services of Delaware that helps older adults remain safe and secure at home. The office is at 20684 John J. Williams Highway, Lewes.
