Tickets on sale for Jo Dee Messina show Oct. 7 in Harrington

The entertainment department at Harrington Raceway and Casino has announced that country icon and recording artist Jo Dee Messina is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, at the exhibit hall, as part of the Live On Stage series lineup.

A seasoned veteran in the music industry, Messina has stood the test of time, always evolving and reinventing herself in country music. With over 20 years in the industry, Messina still garners legions of fans worldwide, performing to sold-out crowds all across the country. With nine No. 1 hits as well as 16 Top 40 hits, this seasoned performer has always been at the top of her class.

In 1996, Messina burst on the scene with her debut hit single "Heads Carolina, Tails California." It didn't take long for Messina to become a household name in country music, and the rest is history. Several albums would follow which would cement her into the country music industry.
