Top professional pickleballer coming to Georgetown Sept. 30

Delaware Senior Olympics and Sports at the Beach in Georgetown are teaming up to bring Sarah Ansboury, the No. 1 pickleball professional in the U.S., to Georgetown Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2.

"It's all part of our 25-year celebration of Delaware Senior Olympics and our pickleball tournament week starting Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 24 and 25, taking place at Kent County Recreational Center," said Susan Brooker, pickleball coordinator for state of Delaware .

Join the national pickleball champion Sarah Ansboury for a weekend of fun, fellowship and fast swings. Experience pickleball like never before during this three-day weekend event. Ansboury has competed nationally at tennis and pickleball tournaments for more than 12 years in addition to teaching clinics and providing instruction for all levels of athletes.
