Trees of Cheer event raises $3,000 for Ronald McDonald House

Chelsea Bristow, Realtor, of The Carrie Lingo Team of Jack Lingo Realtor, announced more than 140 community members attended the third annual Trees of Cheer event to help bring joy and holiday cheer to children and families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Delaware facility in Wilmington.
At the Beacon Inn in Lewes Nov. 26, community members decorated 80 trees. Half went to the Ronald McDonald House, and the other half went to the Cape Community Cares Drive coordinated by the school district homeless liaisons.
The event also raised $3,160 in monetary donations for the the Ronald McDonald House.
