I was very saddened to learn of Trish's passing. When my husband and I moved to Sussex County in the ’80s, we found the Whale and were smitten with it and Sussex County. The Gazette was even better! When I got active in the community and started to write articles, letters, submit calendar items, advertisements, Trish often was there to help me. If I stopped in the office, she was there. If I called, she answered. We met only once many years ago and shared some beverages. She was an unforgettable person, to say the least.
I tell everyone who moves into my community to read the Gazette because it tells you everything you need to know. She helped to make it the best little paper you could ever find. May she rest in peace.
