Truitt W. Jefferson, CPA firm founder
Truitt W. Jefferson, 79, of Milton, passed away in Beebe Healthcare, Lewes, Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.
Truitt, known as Jeff, is survived by his wife, Virginia; sister Sara Belle and husband Sheldon Larmore; daughters Lisa and Luis Arias, Laura and Mark Nover; grandchildren Alexi and Aidan Arias, Madeline and Sam Nover. He was preceded by his sister, Eleanor Hoekstra.
Jeff was a founder of Jefferson, Urian, Doane & Sterner, PA, a CPA firm in Georgetown, Dover and Ocean View. Jeff served his country in the Air Force, was active in the Milton Lions Club and CPA organizations.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with a time of visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
