Vaughan: Wisdom, competence, experience

September 30, 2016

I am writing in support of Barbara Vaughan for state representative District 20. Her lifelong work and interests have always been in governance that makes local and state governments true to the needs of all citizens.

She has served in positions of authority on local and state commissions, advisory committees and elected office, as a city council member in Lewes. Her 24-year record of civic involvement is a testimony to her passion for good, clean and responsive government.
I know Barbara from our work together in establishing the Greater Lewes Community Village, a nonprofit organization, to help seniors stay in their homes as long as possible. From the beginning she was a valuable advocate.

I also recognize her as a most reliable citizen advocate for government that serves people and accomplishes good things.
Wisdom, competence and experience - they matter.
