Verizon stores help students get back to school
Local stores host backpack, school supply giveaway

Verizon Wireless stores in Rehoboth and Millsboro helped local students to get set for success when they hosted a recent school supply giveaway. Equipped with a notebook, folder, glue stick, pencil box and pencils, backpacks were available in four different styles to help families defray some of the annual costs of back-to-school shopping.
Nationwide, more than 1,300 participating TCC Verizon Wireless stores offered 235,000 free backpacks to students preparing to hit the books.
Rehoboth Elementary School third-grader Alexandria Espinoza thought it was a pretty sweet deal when she picked up her pink camouflaged pack. “It’s good. I really like my book bag,” Espinza said.
