Be ready to shop
April 20, 2017

The Delaware State News will present the W3 What Women Want Fest from 10 am. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 29, at a new location this year, Maple Dale Country Club in Dover. This fun, casual, women-only event will include vendors, food, demonstrations, door prizes, giveaways and a fashion show in a festive, relaxed atmosphere.

Style Encore is sponsoring the fashion show featuring local mothers and daughters modeling their fashions. Event sponsors including the YMCA Dover, Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and Dover Federal Credit Union will offer a unique display and a live presentation of the services they provide for local women.

The Charitable Dames of Delaware will also be hosting an accessories boutique. It will feature new and gently used purses, hats, scarves and jewelry for sale, plus Charitable Dames of Delaware merchandise. For more information, go to www.charitabledames.org.

There will be lots of other vendors to visit for fitness, fashions, jewelry, home decorating, cosmetics, real estate, vacations, childcare, art and more. Attendees will want to be sure to bring their wallets so they are ready to shop. Guests will be able to get a facial, sample lots of cosmetics, try out a fitness routine, learn tips to get finances into shape, shop for a house, plan a cruise to Cuba, start redecorating their homes and more.

A buffet will be available throughout the day so attendees can snack while they shop, watch demonstrations and visit with the vendors. There will also be a signature cocktail featured at the cash bar. There will be door prizes and giveaway items.

Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 the day of the event. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.W3Fest.com.
