Walk for Autism shows strength at Hudson Fields

Sussex County saw a heartwarming turnout for the annual Walk for Autism held by Autism Delaware April 20 at Hudson Fields near Milton.

Families, supporters and local community members gathered to raise awareness and funds.

Participants enjoyed a day filled with activities, including a walkathon, food trucks and interactive booths showcasing local businesses and services dedicated to autism advocacy. The atmosphere was one of unity and solidarity, with attendees embracing the opportunity to connect and show support for the autism community.

Attendees celebrated the unique strengths of individuals on the autism spectrum. The success of the event highlighted the dedication of organizers and the commitment of Delaware residents to supporting those with autism and their families. It also served as a poignant reminder of the importance of empathy and education in creating a more supportive and inclusive society for individuals of all abilities.
