Watercolor, pen and ink class to start March 8 at Rehoboth Art League

February 24, 2018

The process of using pen and ink to make a drawing dates back to 7th and 8th century China. Combining watercolor with pen and ink has also been used by artists and illustrators for years. The looseness of the watercolor contrasts nicely with the hard lines that can be produced by pen and ink.

Rehoboth Art League will help students learn about this wonderful blending of media with an upcoming watercolor, pen and ink class from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursdays, March 8 to 29. Local artist Edilu Nehrbas will teach students how to combine watercolor painting with pen and ink techniques for unique, exciting effects in their compositions. The cost is $115 for members and $150 for nonmembers.

To register for the class, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call 302-227-8408, Ext. 112. All classes will be held at the Rehoboth Art League, 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres.
