Worcester Prep students code interactive robots

March 6, 2017

Worcester Preparatory School Lower School computer teacher Mandy Lynch challenged her fifth-graders to design, construct and code robotic animals. Each animal featured movement, sounds and lights.

These 10-year-olds exceeded expectations and created elaborate animal projects from a penguin to a panda. Students used servo motors, light-emitting diodes and sound. Snap! educational graphical programming language was used to code the interactive animations and factual stories.
