FroFru means frozen fruit! Before I found out some clever folks had named it and commercialized it*, I was making this delectable dairy-free, fat-free, sugar-free, guilt-free, nutritious wonder in my very own kitchen! Now you can, too.
Here are the ingredients I use, but get creative and come up with your own FroFru for any time of day or night!
Place in blender or processor:
1-2 frozen banana chunks slightly thawed
1 handful frozen berries
1 orange peeled and segmented
1/2-1 cup dark leafy greens cooked or raw
1/4-1/2 cup dry Old Fashioned whole grain uncooked Oats
1 chunk ginger
2 chopped walnuts
Enough water for soft-serve consistency
Process until smooth. This is a BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS for 1 hungry person!
