During and after a snowfall, Cape Henlopen State Park officials don’t open the gates until the roads and parking lots are plowed – and sometimes that takes awhile. But when the park does open after a storm, the scenery is worth the wait. Even though the roads may be closed, you can still hike or bike in the park.
