Thank you, Chef Michael, for feeding 150 hungry plant-based McDougall Adventurers for a week with stunningly beautiful and absolutely delicious meals. You prepared hot and chilled soups with local flavors and global appeal. You served out-of-this-world crispy, crunchy salads of fresh greens, fruit and herbs. You combined pasta and beans, potatoes and mushrooms, noodles and sauces with creative flair. You nourished body, mind and spirit with satisfying comfort foods. You met all of our nutritional needs while satisfying every palate. You inspired us to imagine ourselves following your example in our own kitchens as we return to our homes across the sea and around the world. Not a single animal suffered for us to eat for optimal health. You and the McDougalls send us off with the courage and confidence to show our families and communities that it is both possible and necessary to eat sustainably and healthfully. Thank you until we eat again at your remarkable table.
