Heidi Lowe Gallery Prepares for Art in the Yard

- Private group -
September 21, 2012

This year Art in the Yard at Heidi Lowe Gallery will take place on October 13th from 11am - 4pm. Art in the Yard is an annual multidisciplinary art show that takes place on the grounds in front of the Gallery and coincides with the Rehoboth Jazz Festival. The event is free.

This annual event allows the gallery to open it's doors to mediums other than jewelry and support the local art community.

"It is always our goal to further promote local art," Gallery Assistant Abigail Dickinson states,  "and this event allows us to embrace mediums beyond the ones we are usually restricted to. Art in the Yard is an event where locals and tourist alike can enjoy art in a playful manner, outside in the crisp air while the town is a buzz with the excitement of Jazz fest."

Up to a dozen yet to be named artists will show their pieces in front of the gallery. Please contact the gallery if you would like your art to be a part of this event.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. everyday through the fall. "Desire," the current show hanging will be replaced in November by "Mutiples;" a show that highlights a singular vision in an artist work with pieces that are all tied together in some tangible way.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is the little yellow cottage at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Rehoboth Beach native Lowe creates her own innovative jewelry line and teaches private lessons on premises. For more information, contact the gallery at 302-227-9203 or visit www.heidilowejewelry.com.
