Dawn's Country Market to host Family Fun Day on the Farm Oct. 20
Dawn's Country Market at Route 1 and Cave Neck Road near Milton will host a Family Fun Day on the Farm from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20.
This free event is a fundraiser for Lilly Barnett, who continues to heal from a devastating car accident more than a year ago. All activities are free, but there will be a donation box, and 100 percent of proceeds from food sales will go to Lilly’s care and recovery.
Last year nearly 2,000 people had a great time at fun day, and organizers have more planned for this year, including magic acts, live music from local artists, classic cars and fire trucks, moon bounces and face painting. There will also be hay rides, a corn maze, pony rides and paint the pumpkin activities.
Food for sale will be provided by Smokin’ D’z BBQ. Vendors who want to participate or those who wish to volunteer should call 302-542-9931.
