Walmart honors Beacon Middle teachers

November 18, 2012

Walmart awarded 20 Beacon Middle School teachers $50 gift cards Oct. 18 to make purchases toward classroom supplies.

Walmart started the Teacher Rewards program four years ago to help offset the cost of classroom supplies.

"We are very grateful to Walmart for providing our teachers with resources that will go right into the classroom," said Beacon Principal David Frederick.
