High water closes Route 1 north of IR Inlet Bridge

High water across Route 1 north of Indian River Inlet Bridge has forced DelDOT to begin the process of closing Route 1 between Dewey Beach and Bethany Beach. The detour northbound is Route 54 to Route 113 northbound; southbound Route 24 to Route 113 southbound.
