Lewes Sleep Inn was a godsend

November 8, 2012

There are few events that so focus a man's mind as the knowledge that an unprecedented storm his way comes. Such was my state of mind when I delivered myself, my wife and my dog to the Sleep Inn Motel in Lewes.

I will say nothing about the storm itself, but I would like to say a word about the Sleep Inn motel where we spent two nights. The motel calls itself pet friendly.  It is.  But beyond that it is people friendly in the most fundamental way.

We felt secure despite the raging chaos outside.  And when the storm ended we at least returned with this, that a bad situation was immensely improved by a good experience at the Sleep Inn.
