McGinn camp thanks supporters

November 15, 2012

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported Beth McGinn in her run for the 37th Representative District. As a novice to the political process she had a very respectable showing against an incumbent candidate with positive name recognition. However, throughout her campaign there were so many who encouraged and ultimately voted for her. I am proud to have been a part of her journey.

I would like to thank Kim Baker for being extremely helpful and kind; the many supporters who sent notes on Beth’s behalf; and especially to the Cape Gazette and Editor Trish Vernon for providing non-partisan representation in their Viewpoints pages that allowed readers to get information on the issues and how the candidates would address them along with personal insights.
