Christine Rich of Dover wins Mrs. Delaware 2013 title

Christine Rich, center, of Dover was crowned Mrs. Delaware 2013 at Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth Beach. She is joined on the winners' platform by second runner-up Shannon Peters, left, and first runner-up Gretchen Spraul of Ocean View.

Rich will represent the First State in the Mrs. America Pageant in Tucson, Ariz., in August 2013.

The Mrs. America Pageant is the oldest and most prestigious pageant for married women in the world and is celebrating its 36th year. Phases of competition include interview with a panel of judges, swimsuit and evening gown.

Rich is pursuing her master's degree at Wilmington University and is a Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader Ambassador. She is married to Caleb Rich, and they have one son. She will spend her year as Mrs. Delaware traveling throughout the state supporting charities and making public appearances.
