Lewes Presbyterian Church hosts Community Dinner

Lewes Presbyterian Church hosted its 9th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 18. During the previous week, volunteers at the church were preparing the dinner, cooking 500 pounds of turkey and 100 pies for the expected 1,200 diners. Volunteers from Delaware Seashore Parrothead Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Columbiettes from St. Edmond's and St. Jude’s Catholic Churches, and Groome Methodist Youth Group, along with volunteers from Lewes Presbyterian Church, stayed busy throughout he evening serving food, clearing tables and managing the long lines.
