The GFWC Women's Club of Indian River meets at 10 a.m. the second Monday of each month, September to May, at the Indian River Yacht Club, River Road, Millsboro. Those interested in joining can call 302-947-2640.

Members are having a fundraiser, Save a Deer and Save Your Dear, selling deer whistles at $10 each to be put on the bumper of a car to prevent deer from running into it and endangering both human and animal life.

GFWC Women's Club of Indian River will have its December holiday luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m., Dec. 10, at Victoria's. Attendees should bring a pair of women's or children's socks or slipper socks as a holiday donation to People's Place.
